Dee's Kidney Transplant

Donation protected
Meet Dee Vyper. He is a hardworking husband, godfather, uncle, and an awesome friend. Dee was born with the genetic Kidney condition known as PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease). Up until just recently he has been able to manage the disease live a full and normal life. Unfortunately, he just crossed into Stage 5 Kidney Failure and had to be placed on Dialysis. Though this keeps him alive, it means spending 5 hours at the Dialysis center 3 times a week, and it takes a toll. The only long term solution and way for him to stop dialysis is to receive a kidney transplant.

Dialysis is a pain staking process and Dee has high hopes of receiving a kidney soon. Even though he is on dialysis, he still lives a very full life. He works full time  building custom cars, and plays with several local bands. He is very active and does a lot of fun actives like walking with his Wolf dog, Playing Music, going with his car to events like Roadwar NW and Wasteland Weekend, and spending time with his Wife, Family and Friends. He has quite the sense of humor and does not let his situation get him down. He is always full of life and energy.

Dee has been on the kidney transplant wait list accumulating time for nearly 4 years, and with amazingly good friends and good fortune may even have a living donor step forward with a matching kidney before one comes available through the transplant list.

Dee's insurance covers the surgeries for both himself and the donor but of course he has a pretty high deductible to reach first. He will also have other expenses associated with the surgery.

The donations will be used mainly for non-rejection medicines, travel and stay for the donor, parking and food at the hospital, lost income during recovery after the transplant, and additional medical needs that go along with the procedure. He will need to take medication for the rest of his life to prevent him from rejecting the kidney transplant. These costs are expensive, estimated around $17,000 dollars a year. The transplant and related surgeries can alo have lengthy recovery times, meaning he may be unable to work for around 3 months, and will need this support to properly recover.

Dee's journey to get a new kidney is just starting and he needs your help.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated to help Dee over this hurdle and forge forward with a new lease on life.

Thank you!
