Dear Friends & Family -

I hope this message finds you all doing well.  

You may recall the story I shared last August/September of 2011 when a group of friends/colleagues and I put together a walk-team for the annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Light The Night" walk in SF. To say that I was deeply moved by the level of support and number of stories shared relating to everyone's personal experiences with blood cancer, would be a major understatement. The money you all helped me raise was used towards the continued journey and battle to help find a cure and fund the people who have dedicated their lives to finding a cure for blood cancer.

As many of you know, the motivation behind our efforts were put forth by my dear friend and mentor, Patrick Landers, who ended up losing his eleven month battle against cancer shortly after he underwent bone marrow transplant in November 2011. We're now focused on assisting his family and carrying on his amazing legacy.

Patrick's two young sons, Ty (6) and Aidan (4), basically mirror Patrick's fun-loving nature and strong spirit. We are putting forth our time and energy to raise funds for the boys' college fund this year.

Whether it is $1.00 or $100.00, this money will help both Ty and Aidan successfully navigate their ways through college when they reach that chapter of their lives.

So many of you have already stepped up and supported my efforts last year and while I understand times are still rough, please know that any dollar amount will in fact go a very long way for these two amazing boys and their college fund.
