Funds to Fix Debbie's Roof!

Most of you know my mother, Debbie Kievits. She is the co-director (she won't event take the primary title!) of the local youth group Bully Busters and has been a community activist for as long as I can remember. One of my friends actually asked me the other day how long my mom has been doing non-profit work. I had to laugh as I said, "Well she's been doing Bully Busters for over 10 years, then she was the PTO president pretty much the whole time I was in elementary School  and she coached softball before I was born!"
So the real answer is: her whole life.

My mom is typically not one to ask for help, she is the one oferring it. So I am asking for her. Over the last year or so her roof has been getting increasingly worse. What started as 1 leak has turned to at least 3, not including the missing shingles. We are more worried now as the leak spots are beginning to mold inside. My mother is very prone to getting Pneumonia so this is especially not safe for her.

Along with that she needs a new screen door, and a couple other small things fixed around the house. My mom collects social security but that just barely covers her bills and even though I try to help whenever I can, it is hard to get major projects like this done in the time they require.

We are reaching out to the community from the other side this time. Anything will help. And please know, you are helping someone that has tried to provide for themselves, their  children, and the children of the community on their own for their entire existence. I am not a big fan of crowdfunding myself, but we are here because we need to be.
