Medical Bills/Physical Therapy for Dad

On February 3rd of this year, our father, Dean Siefken, suffered a stroke at the age of 54 while he was doing everyday chores at home. Brandi, the youngest of all of us at just 12 years old, was with him and did an amazing job potentially saving his life. She kept calm while she immediately called 911 and gave the dispatcher all of his information. She was told that because she was so quick she may have saved his life. After the EMTs took him to the emergency room to be examined and diagnosed, we received the news that our father suffered a stroke that was caused by extremely high blood pressure.
At this point he has lost all movement in the right side of his body, and we have learned that there is blood build up on the left side of his brain about the size of a golf ball. Where the build up is, it is extremely difficult and dangerous to operate on. After his full diagnosis he was sent to the ICU for constant watch for about two weeks, and has been given medicine to help bring down the swelling and build up of blood in his brain.
So far, we are all very excited with the amazing amount of progress he has already made! He has been showing great improvement in speech and has increased responsiveness in his pain testing in the right side of his body! On February 18th he was moved to a different hospital to start therapy and rehabilitation, and the doctors said that after having a stroke it can take up to a year to return back to normal day-to-day living. Knowing how extremely blessed we are to still have our father with us today, we are trying to look to the future to help him out in any way that we can. Right now, that means taking care of medical bills and getting him back on his feet at work with a company he has been with since he was 18. He has been such a big part of our lives, and now it is time for us to thank him and show him how much he means to us. We appreciate anything and everything that you can offer to help our family!
