Hi everyone, if you are one of my customers then you know me and probably my family. If not then I would like to say that I am Royce Davis. I run a small Asian import automotive repair shop in Olive Branch Mississippi. Our shop has been in business for around 4 years and I do everything myself from service advisor and manger to technician, and office. We are blessed to have a customers that are friends as well.
I have created this page to try and get some help for some personal family health issues. As many of you may know, my son was born 7 weeks early weighing 3lbs 12oz as a result of placental abruption. It was very scary but thankfully both my wife and my son made it through surgery and are doing well. Grant spent 17 days in the NICU and is home now. But now we have a new hurdle to cross. Grant was born with craniosynostosis, which is a condition where one or more of the sutures in the skull fuse prematurely. The only repair for this is surgery. We have found a surgeon that we are confident in using that is in New Orleans, LA. Grant will have surgery in a few weeks (havent received our exact date yet) to repair the surture, so his brain will have room to grow. After surgery he will be fitted for an orthoic helmet to help reshape his head as he grows. We have learned that our insurance doesnt cover these helmets, which roughly cost $3000 each. These helmets will have to be replaced every 3-4 months. He will need multiple adjustments (requiring as many as 20 appointments - travelling back and forth to New Orleans in the next year)
We are asking for donations to help with medical/travel expenses as well as support for our shop. Anything that you can give is greatly appreciated.
