[A bit of an update to what has transpired since summer, here: David was diagnosed in summer of 2017 with Stage 4 colon cancer that had metastasized to his liver. Chemo therapy last fall was successful enough to allow his doctors to complete two surgeries: colon surgery in November, and liver resection surgery in December. Doctors have been very encouraged by David's progress in beating this disease. At the end of this month of February, David will begin another (and hopefully final) round of chemo therapy.] With limited abilty to work, the Stay family is continually grateful for support for mounting medical expenses. The friends, family and community that has surrounded this dear young family with prayers, love and support is awe-inspiring. God is here among us and is working through David and Laurie's trust in Him to show others just how much He loves all of us.
