David Sanders, a dad, son, best friend, and most compassionate guy I know, has faced open heart surgery and is need of some help to get through the long recovery process.
Just a few weeks ago he was healthy as he could be until he started having some complications with his breathing. Earlier this week he went to his doctor and the doctor advised him to go to the emergency room immediately. Upon his arrival they did test after test only to find that he had a bad mitral heart valve. The doctor explained, on a scale of 1 to 10, if 10 was a valve that was just wide open and not working at all, his was a 9.5.
The doctor called for open heart surgery to repair his mitral valve. My dad has been self-employed for several years, he has no health insurance and unfortunately, no savings to his name. He is responsible for caring for his mom and works his butt off to support the two of them. After this surgery he is going to be out of work for several months.
With that being said, he has no way to support himself or my grandmother in these coming months. Not to mention the insurmountable medical bills that are piling up. We have filed for help from the state and the hospital to assist us in the time of need, but I am afraid this will not be enough.
All I am asking is for a little help from each and every one of you to help my dad and my grandma get through this difficult time.
