Medical bills for kicking cancers ass

Donation protected
Hello everyone our names are Tracy and Katrina we are 24 and 22 year old full time students and jobs. Our father was diagnosed with stage 3 squamous cell carcinoma in his throat, in January 2014. He is a hard working father and grandfather. He would do anything for his family. He loves us all more than anything in this world.  He is self-employed and unable to work much due to his Trach in his throat and feeding tube in his belly.  Our mother is also self-employed, her ability to work has become limited because she is now a full time nurse to my dad, taking care of him going on doctors appointments can calling  the insurance company and medical supply companies.  That leaves most of the bills on us. So far we were slammed with over $25,000.00 in medical bills. We have done everything we could to get by, dealing with cancer isn't easy.  We are asking for any donation as any cent will make a difference to pay some of the pileing up medical bills.  My dad owns his own tree removal company and due to his medical condition it is unsafe for him to work to support us.  So we are reaching out for help. Everything has happened has fast. He went from a hard working do everything for everyone to being this sick frail man stuck in a hospital bed. Here is what happened.  In December 2013 our dad was misdiagnosed with pneumonia, he went throug two rounds of antibiotics that didn't work.  He was really having trouble breathing and doing normal everyday activities.  So finally in January when the "pneumonia" wasn't going away our mom took him to the emergency room. They did a CAT scan and found a mass on his vocal cords. So they admitted him to the hospital and did a biopsy.  The day after the biopsy they sent him home with other doctors appointments. Two days after being home from the hospital he woke up unable to breath talk or swallow.  The mass has swelled and began to suffocate him.  He was rushed into surgery where they performed an emergency tracheostomy, saving his life.  Due to the surgery and placement of the Trach he was unable to talk eat or swallow. So a few days after the Trach a peg tube was placed in his belly so he can receive the proper nutrition he needed.  After 12 days of being in the hospital he was released still unable to eat or speak on his own.  We communicated through writing.  Doctors were unsure if we would ever be able to hear our dad talk again. While in the hospital he developed an infection in his Trach that went undetected.  They tried to treat the infection at home for about 10 days but the infection just got worse and he started to go into renal failure.  The doctor sent him back to the hospital where he received IV therapy for 11 days. All these medical bumps sent him back in starting chemo and radiation by almost two months.  We thought all his medical treatment was covered by insurance company but it turns out the doctor who saved our dad's life by performing an emergency tracheostomy does not accept his insurance.  He needs to see that doctor once a month to get his Trach changed to avoid infection.  None of these visits are covered. He has received7  rounds of vigorous chemotherapy and 37 rounds of radiations.  Although he recently finished the treatment with chemo and radiation he still has the Trach and feeding tube, they are unable to remove them yet due to the healing process from chemo and radiation.  He still needs to have other tests and procedures before his battle is over.  Please help is create less stress for our parents and hope for a full safe and healthy recovery our superhero.
