Ella’s medical fund

Donation protected
Let me start by saying first, that Dave and Sylvia ARE NOT the "hand out" type of people-infact they are always giving of themselves to support many friends, family members and people in their community, donating dinners and toys to families just this last Christmas.  Dave and Sylvia are a very hard working, loving and supportive couple that has been faced with many, many obstacles in the last few years.  Sylvia was diagnosed with heart failure/cardiomyopathy in August of 2011, and if that wasn't bad enough, with breast cancer in October of 2013.  Due to the chemo used to treat the cancer, she will never recover from her heart issues, and her cancer is not in remission as of this post.  Dave has been her rock, and taken care of her every step of the way, through it all, and been the sole provider for their family.  While their biological children have moved out and are raising their own families, Dave and Sylvia ended up adopting 3 more in 2008, to keep the children from remaining in a foster home.  Dave has had diabetes nearly his entire life, which he has always maintained with little issue.  Recently though, Dave began having trouble with his back, which then became his legs.  He fought off the pain until finally his legs began to give out on him, causing him to miss a lot of work, and incurring high medical deductibles.  Unfortunately, his company called him yesterday and let him go. At 51 years of age, he is unable to work, walk, provide for his family, and now has to worry about all of the things that come with unemployment-on top of constant pain that is so debilitating he can not move.  Over the last few months, he has been to numerous specialist that have put him on a variety of drugs, none of which help, and has found himself at the center of doctors that can not/will not/do not agree on what the cause of this is.  The physician for his diabetes says it is vascular, and the vascular says it is the diabetes.  Now, being forced to either pay the high deductibles for cobra, or obamacare, they are fighting just to hold on.
They are not looking for a hand out/or help to save their home/vehicle or anything more than just medical costs.
This couple has been through everything that is meant to destroy a couple, and are holding onto eachother with everything they have, believing that God's will allows them to make it out the other side together.  While they await disability/social security/medical assistance, they could use any help that you can provide.  Please help the family that has helped so many others and find it in your heart to donate to their medical fund.
Thank you,
Christine Anderson
