This time of year we all receive plenty of requests for donations and support, and this one may not be much different. But I think it is.
Darrin has seen a number of setbacks over the last few years. He lost a portion of his right leg to diabetes. He lost his job earlier this year and has been struggling a bit ever since. He was able to find a job working overnights at Super America, but the pay is abysmal, barely allowing enough for food and rent.
This campaign is to provide a little bit of breathing room until he can find a job that pays enough for him to live at least a little more comfortably. And hopefully we can support his job hunt by providing leads and resources.
He likes to work nights so he can get to Twins games during the season, and would like to find something that pays a minimum of $15 an hour. He would like 40 or more hours a week, and would love to work overtime.
He has worked security in office and hospitality environments. He would love to be in the Bloomington area.
