Darrel's Battle With Medulloblastoma

On August 20th, 2017, my 16-year-old nephew Darrel was complaining of a bad migraine before he threw up and almost fainted. He was then rushed to the ER at Providence Hospital, and that was when my sister and brother in law's whole world came crashing down. He was diagnosed with a large mass in his brain. The doctor could not determine at the point what that mass was. All we knew is that it was severe enough for him to be airlifted  to Seattle Children's Hospital that same day. Once he got to Seattle, the doctors confirmed that the mass was, in fact, a malignant tumor which has also spread to his spine. Darrel had brain surgery on August 21st to get as much of the tumor out and would further require six-weeks of radiation at the Seattle Children's Hospital and at least six months of Chemo therapy. This GoFundMe is to help my sister and brother in law with medical, travel, and housing expenses while they are away caring for my nephew in another state. No amount is too small.
