Dar McBrides funds for Cancer SuckS

Who knew that a routine visit to the Emergency room would turn out to be a  life changing event?  I went to the E.R. because I was up every 45 minutes to an hour getting sick.  In the E.R. they noticed that I had a blockage. I was admitted into the hospital where I would stay for two weeks eating and not eating. After two weeks the surgeon wanted to send me home on clear liquids.  My husband would not have that, so he spoke to the G.I  doctor.
The G.I doctor spoke to the Chief G.I. doctor at the university of Penn and that night I was transferred.  I was told not to eat anything for two days and the blockage cleared and it looked as if I were to go home.  I was told that I could eat and 45 minutes to an hour later I was getting sick and was afraid to tell someone.  I finally realized with the help of my son and hubby that I should tell the doctor and I did.  We found out that the blockage had come back and I was scheduled for surgery on Monday.  After surgery, I was coming to and the doctor said that I had a malignant tumor and he had to take six inches of my intestine.  I bawled my eyes out.  He sent the tumor and two washings to pathology. They had the markings for breast cancer.  I had to go for a mammogram after I was released from the hospital.  I was released on my birthday.  I had already missed my daughters 21st birthday, her party and my nieces very first baby shower.  I was too upset to celebrate.  I went to the mammogram on the next Thursday and they did the mammogram, then the magnified mammogram, then the utrasound, because they found something.  The doctor came in and told me I needed a biopsy.  I started to get upset.  I went up to see the Oncologist and she scheduled the biopsy for the very next day.  On Monday I received a phone call to come see the Oncologist and she stated that I could be made comfortable.  I said NO, I DO NOT WANT TO BE MADE COMFORTABLE.  I WANT TO LIVE! I had just been told that I was going to have my very first grandbabies!! Twins!!  And I want to watch them grow!  Please help me with my medical bills, so I won't be so stressed.  I am told that stress helps the cancer to grow. I almost cancelled the surgery because of this, but was encouraged to make up this account and continue on with the surgery.  Thanks to everybody that had and will donate   <3
