Darby Roach

Darby was recently diagnosed with oropharyngeal cancer. Due to him starting a new job with the City, he is not eligible at this time to accept leave-time donations from Co-Workers, nor is he eligible for Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) time. We are all pulling together to support Darby and his family through this hard time. Ask anyone about Darby, they will express to you that he is a great guy, willing to help anyone when able. He needs our help now, so please assist in any way possible. Below is a timeline of his current situation. We will keep you updated with his progress. Thank you again for supporting our friend and his family.

·         10-19-2020: CT scan with contrast found 3 masses/lesions in the throat area and 2 enlarged lymph nodes.

·         10-23-2020: Biopsy of left neck mass and left oropharyngeal lesion.

·         10-28-2020: results of biopsy findings were Stage 1 oropharyngeal cancer awaiting scheduling for PET scan to see if cancer has spread to any  other organs or bone.

·         Currently Radiation and Chemotherapy are scheduled for 7 weeks Monday – Friday approximately 15-30 treatments.
