Danny Ochoa Fire Recovery Fund

My name is Kim Salisian and just last week I met Danny Ochoa after our Union president at Universal Studios Hollywood had seen me post that my family had space for those who had to evacuate due the the recent Southern California fires.  I had not met him before but I couldn't turn away someone who I could help.  I was so happy to meet this optimistic, outgoing guy who was so appreciative of my help.  Yesterday he took the bus back to his neighborhood in Sylmar to find out if he could return home and found that the house where he had been renting a room was lost to the fire.  Since he does not have a car he had only taken what he could in a backpack.  He is now starting from scratch.  I got to know Danny a little better over pizza one night and I found out he moved here just this year from Texas and doesn't have family close by.  I started this page for him to help get back on feet.  

We are putting a goal up to fund a new housing deposit and a couple of months rent.  He is also in need of essentials like clothing, shoes, towels, toiletries, metro card, groceries, and such, so gift cards to Walmart, Target, or Ralphs are also much appreciated.
