Danielle's Grit & Grace with Cancer

Donation protected
“I can’t breathe”, Danielle said.  “I can’t get a deep breath”.  Panic and fear were in her eyes. As her sister, I know her lifelong fear of suffocating and I sense her swelling liver & spleen infringing on her lung capacity.  She’s pleased she hasn’t lost weight for awhile.  I wonder if the enlarged spleen & liver are making up for it.  She looks down at her belly and says, “I guess I could just tell people I am almost 24 months pregnant”.  We laugh a little, but the sorrow doesn’t leave the room.

We have wanted to update the GoFundMe, because much has transpired. However, we didn’t feel we could let people know when she was out of the area, as we later explain.

Danielle’s treatments have required much travel, specialized testing, specific supplements and organic food.  EVERYTHING is now out of pocket expenses.  All of the fund raised money thus far has been spent.  Thank you for your continued support.  No amount is too small. Please share this post.

Danielle has no income.  Regrettably, she is no longer 50% owner of the business, Eureka; which she had spent over 7 years in building.  There has been no public word of this until now.  Danielle feels people need to know because they may think they are supporting her by going there.  Without any compensation, giving up her ownership has been very stressful and WAS NOT because of her Cancer illness:

While away getting treatments for cancer, tools and belongings critical for her off- grid living in the woods, were taken.   Additionally, steps were secretly taken to ensure she was deliberately prevented from participating in her ownership roles of operations and administration of the restaurant.  The extreme stress caused by these unexpected events has not allowed Danielle’s body to respond as positively to treatments. (All of her doctors from Maine to Mexico to Massachusetts agree that this stress is a consequential threat  to her healing). Her WBC jumped by 40,000 and 50,000 in theses months of stressful incidents!  Last blood test revealed Anemia and a WBC of 375,000!)

Now, there is a continuing grave threat of George trying to take the tractor. This tractor has always provided the only access Danielle has to her home, 2 miles into the woods during winter. It remains a necessity for transport of all supplies, including, food, supplements, generator fuel, etc., during the spring and fall mud season as well.

Danielle is moving forward with encouraging holistic treatments. Printed studies and science show promise in this path.  Travels have taken us for follow up at the Bio Medical clinic in Mexico, to Dana Farber, throughout Maine and more.

Knowledge is power.  Not knowing causes fear.  Fear-based decisions can prove harmful.  It is truly unfortunate there is no agreement in treating cancer.   (Although, in the book, Radical Remission, the author found 9 common natural factors, that contributed to over1,000 cancer cases which all resulted in remission!  PubMed accounts 1500+ cases of spontaneous healing!) .  At some point, we learned, gut instinct should not be ignored.   I believe it takes true courage to follow instinct, especially if the road is less travelled.

Danielle has seen 8 or 9 oncologists.  One oncologist said Danielle would be dead by March, 2018.  One oncologist advised going to Dana Farber immediately for a bone marrow transplant.  However, the specialist at Dana Farber explained “bone marrow transplants are very rarely done for this cancer”.  A Hematology oncologist admitted he did not recommend IV chemo for her leukemia.  With the fear and confusion, there is exhaustion, frustration and much expense.

By luck, by coincidence, or by synchronicity in the aligning of energies, I met Jim, a man having a garage sale.   Our Dad had saved his wife’s life several years earlier.  Jim also had cancer incredibly similar to Danielle’s.  While following a specific holistic treatment, his WBC has dropped significantly and consistently since January. He looks and feels great, with no side effects!  I couldn’t wait to tell Danielle the “garage sale find” I found!

Jim’s naturopath in Portsmouth directed him to a naturopath in Massachusetts who provided access to the highly specialized and targeted RGCC Test ( http://www.rgcc-genlab.com/ ).  This tests blood and genetics and specifically, what one person’s blood responds to best, including chemo options (if you want) and natural/holistic options.  Additional blood tests were sent to various places including Missouri, Cincinnati,Vanderbilt and other notable institutions for their specialty testing.  The results of this test help customize a treatment plan specific for each patient instead of using a one—size-fits-all approach.  I charged the test and threatened Danielle, “You better live!”

Danielle’s cancer responds to liquid vitamin C, Theracumin, Apigenin, Butyrate, and Immunokinoko.  All are deemed necessary for treatment.  We have to travel to Portland every week, stay for 3 consecutive days of 4 hours a day, administering high dose Intravenous Vitamin C.  Costs increase weekly, with the doses.  Cost is in monitoring of the IV.  The challenge is getting a prescription for the Intravenous Vitamin C because it is considered “experimental”, despite documented studies and cases indicating its effectiveness on Cancer.  Costs would be substantially less if we did not have to travel every week, never mind the body’s exhaustion and suffocation with this travel and stress.

To know Danielle is to know a spirited, sometimes fiery person not afraid to dream and not afraid to work hard to make that dream happen.  You cannot help but “believe in her believing”.  If you are afraid to follow your own dream, she will invite you to join hers.  All she dreams of now is to live her life in good health, in her home, surrounded by nature, her gardens and pets once again.

I recently took a picture of Danielle sleeping with the IV in her arm.  It was not a peaceful sleep, but one of exhaustion and humility.  Please help my sister, Danielle, to continue her protocol for healing. Thank you.
