On Thursday, December 25th, 2014, Daniel Shaffer lost his life, at the age of 29. A Napa native that attended Vintage High School, worked at Eagle Rock Fulfillment, and lived in Fairfield, CA with his girlfriend, Amanda. There are no words that can describe the heartbreak experienced when someone you care for is taken without warning, and in such a horrible manner. Daniel Jospeh Shaffer, or Dan as most knew him, was a true passivist and the last person one would imagine getting into an altercation of any kind, especially one resulting in his death. Always happy and laughing, Dan's positive attidude and witty sense of humor was a contagious and welcome addition to any enviroment. At work, his coworkers could rely on him to lighten the mood during high stress periods, and at home his loved ones turned to him for his positive outlook.
No longer able to enjoy his presence and unable to cover the costs of a funeral and memorial service, Daniel's family and friends have decided to reach out to your hearts and the community, in hopes that we can help to see that he is laid to rest. As the death of our beloved friend was so unexpected and much, much too soon, financial assistance to his family will be crucial to see that Daniel recieves the funeral and memorial he deserves.
