Rolling To Independence
As many of you may know my little brother Daniel was in a
pretty serious accident three weeks ago, which left him paralyzed from the
waist down. He spent several weeks in the ICU and had variety of surgeries to
get him where he is today. Some of the
surgeries included removing his spleen and fusing his vertebra together. As such, family and friends are setting up a
couple fundraisers in his name to help raise funds for what lies ahead.
Although our goal is rather ambitious anything we can raise
will go a long way for Dan. All contributions will go directly towards his medical
bills, sending Dan to an intensive 8 week program called Project Walk in Carlsbad California (http://www.projectwalk.org/) after he is
out of rehabilitation in 6 weeks, paying for housing upgrades to install ramps
etc., physical training, and everything else that comes with such a change in
life style.
