My name is Sam. Today, June 24, 2016, I received a devastating phone call that my brother, Daniel was put on life support. The news came hard because my brother is a strong, dynamic man who does not complain easily. Daniel, a 47 years old Christian father, works very hard as a truck driver to support his large family. Last week, while on his job away from home, Daniel began feeling sick and although in great pain, he drove hundreds of miles back home to Michigan to go to the local hospital and be close to his family.
He was admitted to the hospital on Monday. The condition worsened very fast. Initially, the doctors stated that his pancreas was not functioning well and put him on treatment. However, soon after, the doctors realized that Daniel was having difficulties breathing and his heart was weak. His body developed a large amount of fluid. The doctors were worried that his organs were overworking and decided to put him on life support.
Daniel’s children are very distressed and pray hard for their father’s recovery. His wife, Elena refused to leave his side since Monday. We, his brothers and sisters, pray and help his family as we know best. However, we recognize that for some time, Daniel will not be able to work to support his family. Please know that appealing to others’ generosity does not come naturally to me, but I love my brother very much and this makes me step over my embarrassment and ask for your help. Please join us in praying for Daniel and consider making a donation to help in this time of need a hardworking father who’s only goal is to raise his children in a Godly manner and provide them with basic necessity.

Vestea m-a lovit greu fiindca fratele meu a fost dintotdeauna un barbat puternic si pozitiv. La virsta de 47 de ani, Daniel lucreaza din greu ca sofer pe truck si a fost dintotdeauna bucuros ca poate sa-si intretina familia pe care i-a dat-o Dumnezeu. Din pacate, saptamina trecuta, fiind la lucru, departe de casa, Daniel a inceput sa se simta bolnav. Desi avea dureri mari, el a condus sute de mile ca sa ajunga la spitalul local, unde era aproape de familia lui. A fost internat de urgenta si a facut o serie de teste din care reiesia ca pancreasul nu functioneaza bine. Doctorii l-au pus pe un tratament, insa nu dupa mult timp, si-au dat sema ca Daniel respira greu si ca pulsurile inimii erau scazute. Organismul lui a produs o cantitate mare de lichid. Doctorii ingrijorati de faptul ca inima si plaminii erau in pericol, l-au pus pe fratele meu pe aparate de sustinerea vietii.
Copiii lui Daniel sunt foarte ingrijorati si se roaga mult ca Dumnezeu sa-l faca pe tatal lor sanatos. Elena, sotia lui nu a mai parasit spitalul de cind Daniel a fost internat. Deasemenea, noi, fratii si surorile lui il ajutam cum putem mai mult.
Eu, toata viata mea am fost obisnuit sa ajut pe altii si va rog sa ma intelegeti ca imi vine foarte greu sa cer ajutor. Insa imi dau seama ca pentru o perioada de timp, fratele meu nu va putea lucra pentru a-si intretine familia. Asta ma face sa trec peste discomfortul meu si sa apelez la generozitatea dvs.
Va rog sa-l sustineti pe Daniel si familia lui in rugaciune si impreuna sa adunam banii de care are nevoie sa-si intretina familia pentru urmatoarele luni, cit timp el este bolnav. Fratele meu nu are nici o alta dorinta decit sa-si creasca copii in frica de Dumnezeu si sa le poata procura pentru nevoile de zi cu zi. Neavind povara financiara, Daniel ar putea sa-si foloseasca energia sa se faca bine si sa reinceapa lucrul.
