<div>Howdy, donors! My friend, Dana, is bravely battling incurable, stage 4 lung cancer and participating in an experimental treatment at UCHealth, Anschutz alongside her care team in Denver, CO.  The team in Denver has been with her for years after her initial diagnosis and we are now in year 8 and she has exhausted all other treatment options.  This is the closest location to her Texas home where she can participate in this treatment with a medication that allows her to prolong her fight and extend her time with her grandchildren. These last six months my wife and I have done our best to cover her flights from Dallas Love Field airport to Denver International and back once a week, but now we need your help! We make every effort to get the most economical tickets we can to keep costs low, and I do not want her to miss a treatment because we cannot get the flights purchased or cover her incidental expenses. I've set the goal at $15,000 because that would represent the next six to eight months of flights and travel expenses for her weekly treatments. She will soon loose access to the vehicle she has used so far, and while we cannot take away the cancer, a rental car, her meals and other incidental costs are a burden we can remove with your generous help.

<div>On top of her own health issues, her husband has also been forced to retire after battling neck and throat cancer which left him unable to work and tube fed being unable to swallow his own saliva. She has quite a bit to worry about and finances are one thing that we all can remove from her plate.
