PlogSack Beach Cleanup Tour NL: Tour de Strand

Hallo!

Mijn naam is Daan en ik ga over het hele Noordzee strand van Nederland lopen en plastic afval opruimen! Dit doe ik vanaf 8-8-2020 in Den Helder en ik eindig naar verwachting 23 dagen later op 30-08-2020 in Cadzand.
Onderweg loop ik 23 etappes en eindig iedere dag weer op een nieuwe plek. 

Ik ben al jaren bezig met Beach cleanups en heb dit jaar mijn startup PlogSack geïntroduceerd. Ik wil graag helpen om het bewustzijn te verhogen rondom plastic, zwerfafval, oceaanplastic en onze bijdrage als consument hieraan. We kunnen de wereld elke dag een klein beetje mooier maken. 

Ook hoop ik op een activatie; dat mensen inzien dat we allemaal kunnen helpen om de reeds bestaande problemen op te lossen. Door op te ruimen! En tegelijk lekker actief te zijn. Goed voor jezelf, voor andere mensen en dieren en goed voor de planeet. 

Ik ben de bedenker en oprichter van Lightworker Now en het eerste zelf ontworpen product dat wij in de markt hebben gezet is de PlogSack. Ik zal dan ook de gehele route dit product gaan gebruiken om het zwerfafval in te verzamelen. De rugtas gebruik ik om mijn spulletjes in op te bergen en waterflesjes in te doen! Ik weeg al het gevonden afval en ga vrijwillig de gehele kust schoonmaken. Ik zal niet alles op kunnen opruimen, maar elk stukje telt! 

Noem het Trashpacken, Ploggen, Litter picking, Beach Clean-uppen, of gewoon zwerfafval opruimen tijdens de wandeling: het zijn allemaal begrippen die de wereld een klein beetje mooier maken en dat is het doel.

Wil je mij helpen? Dat kan! 

Vele handen maken licht werk. Alleen ik heb maar twee handen! Wellicht wil jij ook een handje helpen? 
Ik nodig elke dag mensen uit om mee te lopen. Inschrijven hiervoor kan via facebook events. Een stukje of een etappe, wat je wilt! Ik ga dit doen per inschrijving en daarbij geldt: ik houd een maximumaantal aan per dag en vol = vol. Hierbij houden we 1,5 meter afstand. Ik ga je natuurlijk niet tegenhouden om ook op te gaan ruimen, of het strand op te gaan, maar wellicht ligt er heel dicht bij jouw huis ook wel zwerfafval! Raap jij dit dan ook op?

1. The Ocean Cleanup  is een Nederlands bedrijf dat al jaren zeer succesvol actief is met haar innovaties in het verzamelen van afval uit de oceanen en rivieren. Van alle donaties en sponsoring die ik hier verzamel zal 50% naar The Ocean Cleanup gaan, zodat zij door kunnen blijven groeien met steeds meer oplossingen! 

2. Target Earth Foundation   is een Nederlandse stichting en is al jaren actief in het volledig vrijwillig opzetten van Beach Cleanups. Zo wordt er elk jaar in Wijk aan Zee in Januari met ruim 150 man schoongemaakt en zijn er al cleanups geweest in meerdere landen! Deze stichting wil dit blijven doen en tegelijk groeien door op meer locaties te gaan organiseren. 50% van uw donaties en sponsoring zal dan ook naar deze stichting gaan om ze hierin aan te moedigen. 

Deze actie is volledig onafhankelijk georganiseerd door PlogSack en wordt niet gesponsord of ondersteunt door de hierboven genoemde twee organisaties. Wel zijn ze beide heel blij dat dit project gaat gebeuren. Dit project heeft geen winstoogmerk, maar heeft wel als doel het vergroten van bewustzijn en verhogen van de naamsbekendheid van alle partijen. Dit project is geen evenement. Wij volgen de richtlijnen van het RIVM.

Hello!

My name is Daan and I will walk over all of the the North Sea beaches of the Netherlands and clean up plastic waste! I do this from 8-8-2020 in Den Helder and I expect to finish 23 days later on 30-08-2020 in Cadzand.
Along the way I walk 23 stages and finish in a new place every day.

I've been doing beach cleanups for years and introduced my startup PlogSack this year. I would like to help raise awareness about plastic, litter, ocean plastic and our contribution as consumers. We can make the world a little bit more beautiful every day.

I also hope to witness an activation; it would be great if more and more people understand that we can all help to solve the already existing problems. By cleaning up! And be acctive at the same time. Good for yourself, for other people and animals and good for the planet.

I am the creator and founder of Lightworker Now and the first self-designed product that we have put on the market is the PlogSack. I will therefore use this product throughout the route to collect the litterI find. I will use the backpack to store my things and to carry my water bottles! I will weigh all the waste that I find whilst voluntary cleaning the entire coast. I will not be able to clean everything, but every piece counts!

Call it Trashpacking, Plogging, Litter picking, Beach Clean-up, or just cleaning up litter during a walk: these are all concepts that make the world a little bit more beautiful and that is the goal.

You will have to register for this and the following applies: There is limited availability per day and full = full. We will keep a distance of 1.5 meters.
Of course I'm not going to stop you from cleaning up or going to the beach, but maybe there is litter very close to your house! Will you pick this up too?
