DJ OG One's Road to Recovery

These past few weeks have been an emotional rollercoaster for me, as my best friend, David Jackson also known as DJ OG One, had recently be diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer.   After hearing the news, I  thought this would only be a minor roadblock for David to over come, in which he did, only with another major setback.

Just a little over a week ago, David had a successful surgery to remove all of his cancer, which we are all thankful for.  Unfortunately there was a major complication that none of us saw coming.  After the sugery, we understand that my good friend is now "visually impaired."  We aren't aren't exactly sure how it happened, but we know that this will make his road to recovery just a bit more difficult.

I've been talking to David these past few days and he is in very high spirits.  I know it hasn't been easy for him,
but I do know he has a lot of great people around him who will help him get through all of this.

I've known David Jackson for close to 15 years and he has been one of the most impactful people in my personal life.  I've seen this man give hundreds of hours of his time and energy to help our Portland community, and I'm hoping we as a community can give back in helping him.

I'm asking all of my friends and families out there that is reading this, to please take a moment, to pray for him and his family and to also help him by donating or sharing this cause to those out there that may be able to help.

Our good friend, father and community leader needs your help.  I can't imagine all the pain him and his family have been dealing with along with the stresses of medical bills and lost time from work.  I'm asking all of you who may be fortunate to help, to please help in the best way you may know how.
