Dungarees for Families
We need your help raising $1,500 (***We raised the bar!***) for a family in need so
that they can have a very merry Christmas!
We are sponsoring a local Philadelphia family of about 8-10
people in size through Salvation Army's Adopt-A-Family program. The
Adopt-A-Family Program was designed to help individuals who are in desperate
need of financial assistance, hope, and caring during the holiday season. We are collecting donations through
this site and also in person at Dungarees for Families: The Denim Tuxedo Pub
Crawl on December 8, 2012 in Conshohocken, PA.
The family we are sponsoring consists of 9 family members: Bettie (age 44), Eugene (22), Kimberly (19), Virginia (13), Sapphire (11), Gregory (9), Johnta (5), Sobreia (2), and Ava (1). We have received a list of clothing needs and other items from their wish list. Please let me know if you would like to donate an item from their wish list rather than make a cash donation. Any leftover funds will be
used to buy more clothes and fixings for a Christmas dinner.

Attend Dungarees for Families: The Denim Tuxedo Pub
Crawl. On December 8, 2012 at 5:00pm, we will be gathering in
Conshohocken for a pub crawl that will help to raise money for our cause.
Revelers are required to wear a Denim Tuxedo (head-to-toe denim) in order to
help call attention to our group and cause. We will be collecting
donations in person throughout the event. Please join us. We will
look ridiculous, but it will be a ridiculously good time. (Bar location
sequence information forthcoming)
