DCRD Division 2 Playoff Tournament Trip

After 7 seasons of blood, sweat, and tears, Demolition City Roller Derby (DCRD) has worked our way up the WFTDA roller derby rankings with the goal of eventually reaching the WFTDA playoff tournaments. This dream has finally become a reality as DCRD’s Dynamite Dolls have qualified for their first-ever WFTDA Division 2 Playoffs in Kitchener, Ontario on August 22-14! We are going in as Seed #8 and our first game will be against Bear City from Berlin Germany! We have earned our position in the tournament, but now we have to get there! The winner of each playoff will go on to play in the Division 2 Championship bout, to be held in Nashville, Tennessee at the 2014 WFTDA Championships in November.

Please help us raise the funds that are necessary to take our skaters to Canada so that we can represent Evansville in this international tournament. Travel and accommodations from Evansville to Kitchener for an entire team and coaching crew are expensive. As our league is volunteer-run, and all players pay for many expenses out of our own pocket, we need your help!! $6,000 will be enough to pay for the gas and accommodations for the entire charter team. Help us bring back a championship for Evansville!
