D.A.R.T (Disaster Aid Relief Team) needs your help. Everyone has seen the destruction Hurricane Dorian released upon the Bahamas. While we along the Space Coast escaped disaster, the Bahamas were devastated. If you've wanted to know how to help ...here's your opportunity. D.A.R.T, a local Florida team, is running two – three boats a week to the Bahamas with much needed disaster relief supplies.
The Bahamian people are without power, running water, transportation, etc. Almost all do not have homes to sleep in, clean clothes to wear, fresh food to eat or basic medical aide. Survivors are forced to live in unsanitary and unsafe conditions. Many are stranded on the outlying islands with no transportation to get to the central resources on the main islands. That’s where D.A.R.T comes in and is able to make a few runs a week through dangerous waters to get the much-needed aide to the right people. D.A.R.T was founded by Army Veteran Cameron Goodyear & partnered by local business owner Justin Kessler with support from some retired military persons from the Army, Navy & Marines. Because of this they are able to navigate through the pirated waters and provide safe passage to the few surviving slips available and deliver the much-needed aide for many of the outlying islands. That’s where we need your help! Every donation helpstruly, and together we can Make The Bahamas Great Again!
All donations received will go towards food and supplies such as generators, solar panels, build supplies, medical supplies, fuel for private water craft, and airplanes, and all key operations associated to complete the mission of rebuilding the communities in the Bahamas.
