Cyndi Moczydlowsky Medical Cost Fund

On Sunday January 5th of 2014 Cyndi Moczydlowsky was rushed to the emergency room for breathing issues. Originally thought to be caused by complications from her mild struggle with asthma and a respiratory infection she was admitted to the hospital to monitor her breathing for the night. Even after breathing treatments from the hospital, her conditional slowly kept getting worse. Her beathing became so difficult that in the early morning hours of Friday January 10th the Doctor decided she needed the assistance of a ventilator hoping it would help her breathe while medicine took its course to make her better. Once hooked up to the ventilator she was moved to the ICU unit at Henry Ford Wyandotte so they could monitor her vitals and keep her stable while her body healed itself. By Friday afternoon her condition was quickly deteriorating and the Doctors decided she needed to be rushed to U of M medical Center. Once she arrived at U of M they were able to stabilize her and keep her condition from getting worse. After running their tests, they found that she had become infected with H1N1 Swine Flu Virus. The Virus was so aggressive that it attacked her lungs and started shutting down her respiratory system. As of Now she is at U of M ICU and is still in critical condition. It will be many days of pain and tears our family will have to go through before we start to see significant progess in her health. Medical Costs are quickly adding up and even with my Mom's Medical Insurance we are looking at many thousands of dollars in bills to come. I set the goal at what I estimate my parents out of pocket cost to be for this unfortuntate tragedy.
