My nephew Kolton is the sweetest, silliest little boy and most loving big brother anyone could ask for. He is always ready to greet you with a big hug or even bigger high five. Kolton is like every other 3 year old boy, he loves camping, fishing, and playing with his family. Unfortunately, Kolton has a tough road ahead of him. Last Monday Kolton went to the hospital for what seemed to be something minor, and ended up hearing the dreaded C word. They found a tumor the size of a small pumpkin in his abdominal sack, which may have attached itself to several main organs. After surgery, biopsy and preliminary reviews, he was diagnosed with Cancer. Kolton is a fighter, and he has the never ending support of an amazing family, but as with any family, they have their limitations. My sister, Nicole and her husband Kris work very hard to give their family all they can, and as with anyone, no one ever anticipates their entire world crashing down on them. Kolton will need several surgeries, and months of treatment in order to get back to running through the mud. Kolton's parents are giving everything they can to contribute to his treatments, and will continue to prioritize his needs above all else, but that will only cover a fraction of the costs. We know they need to focus on Kolton, and keep him in as their number one priority, but they have many missed work days ahead of them. They have a dark looming mailbox that is already overflowing with medical bills. They have specialists, and medications and surgeries to schedule, and prepare for. Financial contributions are one way we can help ensure that he is receiving the treatment, care and support he needs to concentrate on getting better.
I understand that many people are unable to spare much these days, but anything will help. Every dollar donated goes directly towards Kolton's treatments. We know he is strong, and have faith he will kick this cancers butt with the right treatments, but we need to ensure he has a fighting chance.

One last request-Please, hug your loved ones, snuggle the little ones, and appreciate every moment,

This family needs any relief they can get. Please keep them in your thoughts. Donations will be gratiously accepted.

Please email or call me with any questions or alternative donations:

A little about Koltons Condition:
Most people have never heard of neuroblastoma, a rare type of cancer that almost always occurs in infants and young children. It's actually the most common type of cancer in infants, but it's still rare enough that many doctors have never cared for a child with neuroblastoma.

Although neuroblastoma sometimes forms before a child is born, it usually isn't found until later, when the tumor begins to grow and affect the body. When neuroblastoma is diagnosed in infancy, the chance of recovery is good.

Neuroblastoma is a rare disease in which a solid tumor (a lump or mass caused by uncontrolled or abnormal cell growth) is formed by special nerve cells called neuroblasts. Normally, these immature cells grow and mature into functioning nerve cells. But in neuroblastoma, they become cancer cells instead.

Neuroblastoma most commonly starts in the tissue of the adrenal glands, the triangular glands on top of the kidneys that produce hormones responsible for controlling heart rate, blood pressure, and other important functions. Like other cancers, neuroblastoma can spread (metastasize) to other parts of the body, such as the lymph nodes, skin, liver, and bones.

Unfortunately, in most cases the neuroblastoma has spread by the time it's diagnosed. In these cases, chemotherapy and surgery are the primary treatments and may be performed in conjunction with radiation therapy and stem cell or bone marrow transplantation.
