Help Fund Caroline's Cure from Lyme

Looks can be deceiving; Caroline is attempting to say, "I am curing myself from Lyme Disease." The progression of the neuro effects of Lyme Disease prevents her from doing so. Stay tuned for progress in her speech as we progress on her healing journey.


Caroline and I are reaching out to our dear family and friends, even strangers to ask for help funding Caroline's two month trip to Peru to hopefully cure her from Lyme disease. Our journey with western medicine has led Caroline’s health being dramatically worse. It is now time to expand our willingness for non western treatments and to go to one of the worlds known healing center- Pisac, Peru. We have laid out a plan for healing that we truly believe will save Caroline’s life.


Caroline’s western diagnosis is Progressive Apraxia of Speech, Lyme Disease, Bartonella, Babesia and other co-infections. At the moment Caroline is doing very poorly. She’s currently unable to pronounce a single word, she can only sleep about four hours per night, energy is about 10% of normal, body pain is 5 or 6  on a 1-10 every day.


It is important you know that Caroline’s Lyme journey started over 20 years ago. For over 20 years she has had ongoing debilitating illness and has been inaccurately diagnosed with everything from Fibromyalgia, RA to ALS. She was properly diagnosed in the fall of 2013. It has been a very long, hard road. Imagine not being able to simply say “I love you” to your child or husband.


Caroline and I made this decision after many months of diligent research and most importantly from witnessing our friend Rachel’s total life transformation - healing herself from Lyme in Peru. Rachel's experience in healthcare is an unconventional one. She is not a doctor. Her experience is a ten plus year journey treating her own Lyme disease. We first met Rachel at a Lyme support group meeting three years ago. Our experience of her was that she was far more dramatically affected than Caroline is now. Several months later we reconnected with Rachel only to find out that in a last effort to save her life, she sought out a contact in Peru that healed herself of Lyme. She returned from Peru three months later almost 100% cured. She has her life back… She's become a yoga instructor, jumped back into her passion for fashion and was the star at a Sacramento fashion show where she presented her Spring fas line. A year ago Rachel was unable to get out of the car to go into a restaurant and enjoy an evening out with family.


It is important to know that Rachel is not profiting from helping Caroline. She will travel with Caroline and will be her caregiver until they leave to come home together. Rachel is not motivated by money but her passion to heal Caroline.
