Cure Cancer For Cayden & Carter

I awoke to very heart-wrenching news of an 8-month-old baby boy, within our community, that has been given a battle that he nor his family should have to fight alone.... Here is a better description given by his Mother, Tayla Barker. Cayden has retinoblastoma. A cancerous malignant tumor in his eye. They said there may be a small small tumor at the end of the optic nerve almost in the brain but they won’t know until they take his eye out. The large tumor (the reason why this is all happening) will be removed and hopefully that frees him of all the cancer but they will do testing on the bad eye which will have determined if it’s going to spread ...They are going to figure out a surgery date in the next few days. He may or may not need chemo depending on what the genetics of the eye look like and if they think the tumors could develop in other places He will get a plastic eye after the surgery until we can bring him a week later to get the eye color matched with his eye. They are currently traveling back-and-forth to Boston's Children Hospital which is a 2 hour drive, one way! They say it takes a village and any penny you may have to spare to help this beautiful, young family with travel and medical expenses would be a blessing.
