Cover-up for Corona Challenge

RAISING FUNDS FOR DEVELOPING COUNTRIES AFFECTED BY CORONAVIRUS

2 months ago we started a T-shirt challenge, in aid of Concern Worldwide and the International Committee of the Red Cross called ‘The cover-up for Corona Challenge’.  All money raised from this challenge is going to provide life-saving humanitarian aid for developing countries affected by COVID-19.

Currently, wealthy nations are at the centre of this lethal virus. But we need to consider developing countries like Liberia, where there are no intensive care units with a ventilator; Malawi has only 20 ICU beds for a population of about 18 million people; Zambia has just one doctor for 10,000 people and in Mali, where there are only three ventilators per 1 million people.

Concern is an NGO that fights poverty in developing countries by providing life-saving humanitarian aid. Concern are currently assisting countries such as West, East, and Central Africa, Asia, The Middle East and Haiti to flatten the curve of the virus.

International Committee of the Red Cross:
ICRC is an international NGO that provides urgent assistance to those affected by disaster through vaccination campaigns, disaster preparedness, and by reconnecting families separated by conflict and natural disasters.
