Courtney's Breast Cancer Fundraiser

I am raising money for my best friend, an amazing woman, a mother to two beautiful very young boys (excuse me, Jr *is* a "big boy" now ;).
Courtney, 32, a young mother, went for a routine breast exam check up after nursing both her babies and we received the worst news you can get. A very complex and advanced Cancer diagnosis was practically immediate!
She had three seriously invasive, malignant & INOPERABLE tumours so deeply and closely embedded in her chest wall, that the only option was very, very intensive chemotherapy, which Courtney braved like the fighter she is...the double masectomy left her hospital bound & finally she can go home (with daily nurses, med equip, etcetera) ....and we know the fight is far from over and NOW she needs to heal, Courtney needs home care and a decent quality of life.
All this with a brave face for her young boys the whole time! And a purple wig on her birthday cause (I quote) "if I'm going wearing a wig, I'm doing a purple one!!"
Would you have that courage? I don't know if I would.
Courtney has done her very best to keep positive and do all she can to "keep going" and trying to keep things as 'normal' as possible for her family. I'm so proud of her.... It's crazy! It's not fair'--it never is & this time it is especially complex and very advanced :( A double mastectomy, chemo that's left her so.... Well you know.. It SUCKS!! And SO NOW WE COME TOGETHER FOR HER & her family. Imagine it were you, or your mother, daughter or sister :( Courtney is all of these things, and she is a truly awesome person who stands up for what is right! Stand up for her! Stand with her against this!
You know what SUCKS more. Her EI barely covered the families living expense & was up over two mos. ago, & as her partner is now full time STAHD & caregiver.
SO you say: Tell me what I can do to help? What can I do?! Well. Here it is!!!

They do not need to be stressing about $$ and the daily work slog... You know when you can't sleep at night because of bills. Imagine doing it while you work to keep your life for your family....to worry whether you'll be there to see your baby hit all his "firsts" and to see her big boy graduate into "grades"....It's heartbreaking. But Courtney is a Fighter!
There's no room for worry about money here....anything will help, please chip in! It all adds up $5, $10, $1,000...
What can you spare? Cause if I had it. I'd give her my all...so I'm asking YOU to help too....and your friends, and their friends and everyone's friends: PLEASE HELP MY FRIEND! :)
Thank you. Truly! It means the world for this young family and these two boys who were lucky enough to get Courtney as their Mamma... Cause you know anything leftover will go to their education funds. That's just how Courtney thinks! 'Everyone first, I'll be fine.'
