World Championship Fund

Donation protected
Ever since I was 8 years old, I have dreamed of making the USA Inline Speed Skating Junior World Team. It has been a lifelong goal to represent my country at the World Championships. For the past week I have been in Colorado Springs competing with the top skaters in the country to earn one of 6 spots on the 2012 Junior World Team. I am very proud to say that I earned the Overall Road Champion spot on the team.

For the next three weeks I will be living at the US Olympic Training Center and taking part in the team residency training program. On August 30, we will travel as a team to Italy to compete at the 2012 Inline Speed Skating World Championships. It is now my goal to earn a medal at the World Championships and become a Junior World Champion in the sport of inline speed skating and to inspire others to always believe in their dreams!! This past week I finally realized that dreams really do come true.

My travel fare and equipment expenses for my trip to Italy are very expensive, and only having a few weeks to come up with the funds causes me great concern. Budget cuts for the US Olympic Committee have also made it so that the USA World Team skaters are left to finance their trip to Italy on their own.

I am asking my family, friends, local businesses and corporations to consider making a donation (of any amount) to my "World Championship Fund". Doing so, will allow me to complete my payment and have the wheels and equipment I need so I can head off to Italy with only one thing in mind -- bringing home some hardware!!
