Revitalize Our Neighborhood Sign!

Donation protected
If you've ever turned onto Greenbrook Dr. from Evesboro-Medford Rd., or even just passed-by, you've seen it...

Affixed to deteriorating wooden posts, the weathered placard stands guard like a sentinel from a bygone era.

"Country Farms", it proclaims - while fading depictions of barns and fields valiantly struggle to welcome both residents and visitors alike.

Why Are We Asking For Your Help?

For many years, the Country Farms sign has been the first thing people see when entering our neighborhood. It's intended to be a friendly sight after a long drive home and welcoming first impression to visitors and potential home buyers.

Unfortunately, our sign has seen better days. Its colors are worn, its design is outdated, and the landscaping leaves much to be desired.

You know the old saying about a first impression - which is another reason why we feel an updated Country Farms sign is so important. By raising these funds, we plan to replace our aging neighborhood sign and revitalize the area surrounding it with visually pleasing, updated landscaping.

This is why we've started this campaign.

The Concept.
The new sign and landscaping will have an updated aesthetic that fits our neighborhood and welcomes both residents and visitors with a renewed spirit.  Additionally, its PVC composite construction and low-maintenance landscaping will provide all residents and visitors with a warm welcome for many years to come.

We have already consulted with landscaping specialists and a sign-making professional (who is also a Country Farms resident!) to propose what we feel is a truly fantastic, upgraded design.

Regardless of color choice, the new concept will feature a  relief-carved, PVC composite panel sign - mounted to a white, wooden pergola on two stone pillars. The landscaping around the sign will feature low-maintenance shrubs, grasses, and mulch - including, but not limited to Steed Holly, Golden Thread Cypress, and Dwarf Fescue Grass.

The following concept image is intended to be the inspiration for the design and we hope to be able to deliver a final product as close to this as possible (with changes to the greenery, of course):

Please be aware that this concept is subject to change, as local building codes state that the entire structure must be less than 8ft tall. There is a possiblity that the pergola design may need to be modified. Efforts will be made to notify residents/contributors as quickly as possible of any significant changes to the design.

The following photos show a basic design preview of the new sign as well as three color options:

(Please note that these area stylized concepts - colors may appear slightly differently when viewed in-person on the actual sign.)

Color Option #1: "Polar White", "Metallic Copper", "Blue-Green", & "Aqua":

Color Option #2: "Polar White", "Metallic Gold", & "Maroon":
Color Option #3: "Polar White", "Metallic Gold", & "Hunter Green":

How Can I Vote On A Color?
In order to choose colors, a poll/vote will be taken in the "Country Farms - Keep Our Fields" Facebook group, asking each person to select their favorite.

If you have Facebook but are not yet a member of the group, please feel free to join! If you need assistance, please reach out to me using the mail link near the donation button on this page and I'll be happy to help!

If you are a resident of Country Farms but don't have a Facebook and would still like to register a vote, please include your color choice as a note with your donation. We will do our best to manually tally these votes and include them with the Facebook Poll.

Evesham Township Contribution: $500.00

Total Estimated Cost: $5304.75

*Please note that specific documentation can be provided to any resident upon request.

We Need Your Help!
While most of us will likely agree that the sign needs to be updated, work of this nature needs signficant funding. Your donation will go directly to help with this project and will be an integral part of the improvement of our neighborhood!

While, at this time, there is no specific date set as a deadline for this work - cost estimates are not going to be valid indefinitely and we would like to ensure minimal variation in cost.

Additionally, Evesham Township requires permitting for us to install the new sign. They have expressed a desire for us to collect funding before we apply for permits. They have indicated that they would like to be sure that we will move forward with the project before reviewing an application on their end.

Because of these factors, we encourage all contributors to donate as soon as possible! With your donation to this effort, you can make an impact on your community that will be appreciated day after day for years to come.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our fundraising campaign, and we appreciate any help you can provide!
