Hi, my name is Mason and I am the store manager of one of the Costa Coffee stores in the North West, I have been a keen fundraiser over the years and this year this is what we are doing,
-65 Mile Cycle APPROX 4.5 Hours
-Down the coast of the Northwest
-Visiting all the Costa Coffee shops we can
-Lancaster to Southport
-With the support of my boss Tom
-Goal is £500 in 6 weeks with your help.
I have recently taken up cycling as its a great way to keep fit and keep in touch with nature, my biggest ride to date is 32 miles this took me around 2.5 hours and 1 week to recover. This 65 mile route covers a line across the northwest.
Now a little bit about who we are raising for
Costa Foundation
The Costa Foundation is an independent charity that aims to improve the education for boys and girls in some of the poorest coffee-farming communities around the globe
We know that the farmers who grow coffee are an essential part of our business – we couldn’t keep inspiring the world to love great coffee without them!
Many coffee-growing communities are situated in remote rural areas, in some of the world’s poorest countries and children in these communities often have limited or no access to education.
The Costa Foundation* was started back in 2006 to support the people living in remote communities by building schools to give children a safe, quality education.
We know that education has the power to change a child’s life story, which is why the Costa Foundation has a big vision: to eradicate poverty in coffee-growing communities.
