Corson Family Hurricane Relief

NuVasive Family & Friends,
A member of our Cheetah pack, Matt Corson, a Sales Specialist in Sugarland, TX, and his family have been displaced by Hurricane Harvey. Their home is currently uninhabitable due to flooding which destroyed the entire first floor (pictured below). The estimate to repair the damages and replace furnishings is $75k.
Please join our effort to raise just one-third of what the Corson Family needs to get back into their home. Any level of support is greatly appreciated!
The Corson's Flood Story
The Corson's were already housing Patricia's brother's family of 5, who had been displaced by the hurricane, when they decided to voluntarily evacuate on Aug 28.
They expected their area to be affected by power outages and shortages of food and water. What they did not anticipate was flooding.
The Corson's neighborhood was designed to be protected by a levy system, which is why they did not carry flood insurance. However, when the levy failed, the Corson's home was consumed by water.
Friends & Family to the Rescue
The Corson's friends, including local NUVA shareowners, Alex Svetlitski (pictured below right with Matt), Clay Williams, Collin Guy and Corey Benoit, along with Matt's hunting buddies, joined Matt for a few days of demo work.
Life Today
The Corson's are currently living with family, surprisingly just a few blocks from their home in a house that was spared any damage thanks to being on higher ground. Construction is under way, and the hope is to be back home by the end of October.
