Corky's Mom: Medical Fees/Funeral Costs

My beloved mom is on her deathbed in a hospital in Manila right now and is not expected to be with us much longer.
She had been battling pancreatic cancer for three years since the age of 74. Through the brilliance of the medical team behind her and Divine Grace, she miraculously survived a very invasive surgery. Thankfully, she was able to be around for my 18-year old son Randy to finally meet her and get to know her for a month and a half when he was traveling.
In her very weak state, she had been fighting courageously to live on to see my now 6-year old nephew eventually graduate from grade school. Due to her cancer spreading and a liter of fluid found in her right lung just a couple of days ago, this will never happen.
My father, brother and sister have devoted the past few years to caring intensively for my mom -- physically, financially and emotionally. Due to limited funds, I have not had the capacity to even travel to Manila to be there for them.
Rather than trying to raise money for airfare, I am asking you, my friends, colleagues and community (both local and beyond) to assist me instead with defraying their mounting medical bills and, ultimately, funeral costs. They are already going through much anguish and anything donated would really help. I have frequently helped to raise funds for other people and this is extremely difficult for me to be doing so personally. No amount is too small.
