Cooper's medical expense

Cooper and my daughter Elizabeth both became part of my family in 2011.
I found Cooper sick and crying in the street and got him vetted. Since then he has been healthy........ until now.
December 16, 2014 he was in obvious distress so I took him to a pet ER around 10 PM where they quickly diagnosed him with a blocked bladder. They said he'd be there approximately 3 days while they continued to flush his bladder, had him catheritized, and possible surgery if they couldn't flush the blockage out. The original estimate was $2200-2900!
Elizabeth adores Cooper and so do I so I agreed the the treatment plan and costs. It has been 4 1/2 days and the costs are way over the top end of the estimate.
Cooper is better but the vet says he now has an infection so he's on oral antibiotics as well as IV fluids to continue flushing his bladder as well as pain meds. He is still catheritized. And they say he may still need surgery.
I am going to see if it is possible to get him into one of the lower cost clinics, if they can do this kind of treatment, but they aren't open until tomorrow. Regardless, there are still a lot of medical costs.
The first thing Elizabeth asked about this morning, before she was even completely awake, was if Cooper was coming home today. He's not. I'm praying I can get his medical bills financed some how so he can eventually come home. I do not want to euthanize this cat but my ability to pay is exhausted.
I'm asking for help. For Cooper. For Elizabeth. For a Merry Christmas. Please help me bring a healthy Cooper home.
