A couple of weeks ago, we discovered that the tumors had grown significantly over the past few months and are now affecting his vision. We need to begin treatment as soon as possible to prevent any damage to his vision. Unfortunately treatment will mean 60 weeks of Chemotherapy.
On Dec 16th 2014, Connor underwent surgery to have a port installed for the treatment. On Jan 5th 2015, he will begin his first treatment. While the prognosis looks very good, and Connor remains in great spirits, these next 14 months will be very difficult for his family physically, mentally, and financially.
Aside from an extremely large prayer network that friends and family have generated for him and our families, there are benefit dinners in the works to raise funds for medical expenses and weekly trips to Syracuse, as well as other regular trips to Rochester and other local practices in the Binghamton area. A current benefit dinner is scheduled for Jan 24th in Castle Creek, NY. Please contact Bryan for tickets [email redacted].
We are creating this page for the people who wish to help out but cannot make the dinner. We will be eternally grateful to anyone who can help contribute to this fund.
I want everyone to know that we have full intentions on paying this forward to other families going through the same situation once we have come out of this.
Thank you all for your time and consideration, and may you be blessed.
