Connecting Families Visitation LLC is a female and former foster care child owned business in the State of Washington dedicated to giving back to the community. This company is looking to partner with local DSHS offices and other companies to provide supervised visitation services to low income families who need supervised visitation to help strengthen their family ties.

The goal is to utilize this fundraising event to jumpstart the business and provide free service for 20 low income families.

History of Company

Connecting Families Visitation was created in July of 2015. Founder and CEO Carrie Easley has worked the field for several years now. She first started working in this service during her college career, while attending Pierce College Fort Steilacoom and Central Washington University,  by taking a Case Aide position and completion of a Internship at Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) from the years of 2010 to 2013. After leaving DSHS, she went to go work for a private agency contracted with DSHS for visitation services,as regular employee and held a supervisor position, then in 2015 she became a subcontractor. Carrie found that she loved providing this type of service and aspired to have her own business. That is when Connecting Families Visitation was created, with the hope that it can help build health relationships between parents and children regardless of the family dynamics.

About The CEO
Carrie Easley was born on April 26th, 1990. She was born in Sikeston, MO and grew up in Union City, TN and then moved to Tacoma, WA in 2003 with her mother and two younger sisters. Growing up was not always easy, at the age of 15 she was placed in foster care. At the age of 18 she aged out of the foster care system.

Carrie had hopes of making something better of the situation, so she used the resources she had to get herself on track for a college career. While school was hard to complete due to all of the moving from foster home to foster home, Carrie stuck it out and graduate a semester late from Clover Park High School, with the help of determination, motivation and a dream of creating better opportunities for herself and a small group of supporters.

Carrie’s college career began at Pierce College-Fort Steilacoom in Lakewood, WA in 2009. In 2011, Carrie graduated with her AA-DTA in Science with the focus of Social Service Mental Health. After leaving Pierce College, she didn’t go to far to continue her education. She attended Central Washington University-Pierce County site to complete her BA of Science with the focus of Social Services. While attending both Pierce College and CWU-Pierce County, she got a Case Aide and Intership at Department of Social and Health Service where she was introducted to supervised/monitored/unsupervised/transporation visitation services. After leaving DSHS, Carrie went to go work for a private agency called Multicultural Child and Family Hope Center. After a short time of being there she was promoted to Parent-Child Visitation Lead Supervisor, which she still holds this position with the company as a Subcontractor, and learned the in-and-outs of the business and how things worked.

In July of 2015, Carrie decided it was time to venture out on her own and create her business and add her own twist on what services could be add to help families be better connected. As the company grows Carrie hopes to find more opportunities to better serve her community, but this is her start.
