Raising Funds for Non-Profit Shelter

In 2012, Combined Group Insurance Services made a ten-year commitment to serve the community in various ways. We've had some great outreach opportunities the past two years, and we think this year is no exception! For 2014, we are focusing our efforts on helping non-profit animal rescue/shelter organizations in various ways.

Some of the events we have planned are:
- Pet Supply Donation Drive for Humane Society of North Texas
- Volunteer Day at SPCA event
- Volunteer Day at Operation Kindness
- Adopt-A-Pet Day
- On-Going Fundraiser for Operation Kindness

Our goals as a company are to allow staff members the ability to serve at his or her own desired level; involve our agents, vendors, and community in support of the project; and to promote the well-being of our community.

Our fundraising goal is $5,000.  This money will be donated to Operation Kindness, a no-kill animal shelter in Texas, to sponsor 5 dog runs in their Bear's Den area for larger breed dogs (i.e. more difficult to adopt out).  This money will really help to support all animals in all areas of the facility though.

This money provides for their basic needs, including:
- Shelter and care
- Vaccines
- Food
- Building maintenance

We need your support in reaching this goal!  Please consider donating to our fundraiser and remember than every dollar amount counts- there is no such thing as a "small" donation.  It all adds up to make a large impact.
