Our Story…
Since 2015, HELP, Inc. has supported over 50 low-income students in their journey to college through the College Edge Program: a comprehensive series of college-readiness workshops, SAT test preparation lessons, college tours, and private coaching sessions designed to guide students and families to and through the college application process.
The goal of the program is 100% college placement and so far, we have met that goal. We’d like to continue our success with your help.
Your donation will help increase college access for students who need it the most. Students who grow up in low-income households are 80% less likely to become low-income themselves if they graduate from college.
Specifically, donations will be used to…
1) hire, train, and keep quality instructors who prepare our students for college admission tests.
2) purchase college admission test prep books, practice tests, and to print our College Edge Program booklet, which are all offered to our students free of charge.
3) rent tour buses for our college tours and college fairs.
4) hire, train, and keep dedicated counselors who provide one-on-one guidance to students and parents through the college application process as well as lead workshops on college admissions and financial aid.
