Hope for Colleen Brittain

Donation protected

My name is Caroline. My daughter is Colleen Brittain.  So, I thought I was protecting her anonymity but at this point I realize that the best thing I can do for her, and others like her is tell her story.  So here it is.. My daughter has been struggling with addiction for the past 10 years. As a result she is unemployed and uninsured.  After several attemps at recovery, her last relaspe ended in a 20 foot fall, resulting in a traumatic head injury fracturing her skull  causing brain injury with heavy swelling and cranial bleeding.

If nothing else, my hope is that her story will help the addict or alcoholic that is considering picking up the next drink or drug.  Please realize this could be you could be in the bed next to her or in the morgue.  It is clear to me that she has a purpose because, it is by the Grace of God, she survived.

She is currently in ICU for the forseeable future with a long road of recovery ahead. At this point, she is looking at astronomical medical expenses. We are reaching out for prayer and monetary support so that she can focus on recovery from her physical injuries as well as her disease of addiction.

It is expected that she will be in ICU for 1-2 more weeks.  I would imagine the bills will be rolling in within the next few weeks.

All prayers and donationa are appreciated more then words can express. Most importantly, please remember her story!

May you feel the blessing of God upon you.
