Cole Lewis NSLC Engineering Trip

Hi, My Name is Cole Lewis. I am a Junior at Placer High School in Auburn, CA and I have a passion for Engineering and want to become one when I grow up. I recently got a job as an Intern at an Engineering Firm called the Engineering Enterprise where I assist the Engineers with their projects. I have been there for almost 2 months now. I want to continue towards becoming an Engineer by attending  the National Student Leadership Conference for Engineering at University of California Berkeley. This conference is 10 days of learning and challenges like designing, building, and testing a robot, bridge or wind turbine, meeting nationally renowned engineers, researchers and professors and taking trips and tours like going to Intel!! You also get a little peek at life on a college campus while you stay in the dorms. This program is an amazing opportunity to succeed and progress in the Engineering field in the future that not everyone gets the chance to experience so I want to make the most of it.
