Cody James Duszynski was born on February 23rd 1983, he grew up in Lake Forest, California for most of his life with a passion for BMX, motorcycles, trucks, the beach, and had a great way of making friends with his warm welcoming demeanor and unfailing kindness.

After working many years as a Repo in the LA area he left to serve 4 years in the US Army and deployed for 2 years to Afghanistan, did the Green Berets program and passed but was Honorably Discharged in 2011 to pursue other life goals.
He moved to Savannah, Georgia and lived there for over 8 years and made many friends as a bartender at Rail but his favorite bar was Pinky Masters where he made not just friends but family. After being a bar tender for many years he went to school to become a Machinist/Welder as well as work on and build Motorcycles.

He built his own bike and rode it across the country from Georgia to California and back, he had a love for riding and a passion for helping others, he also had his French Bulldog, Tonka, who everyone in Savannah knew, they were put on a tourist site as “People to see in Savannah” the Cody and Tonka.
On the night of October 14th he was returning home from a week long Motorcycle trip with friends when a Jeep Cherokee made a left hand turn without seeing him coming causing a collision. Cody was rushed to the hospital alive but doctors were unable to save him from the injuries sustained.
We have started this go fund me in hopes to help the family with any funeral costs or transportation from California to Georgia.

Hello everyone, my name is Kacy Hackett(Duszynski) I’m Cody’s youngest sister with the guidance of my friend we set up this GoFundMe. We will be using all donations to get the family to and from savannah, Georgia where Cody lived and where we are having his services. Also to be able to bring his beloved Tonka back home with his nieces and nephews. To cover any/all costs or bills obtained in regards to his funeral, celebration of life, cost of shipping his things, all things related to anything we need to take care of regarding my brothers life, all left over proceeds will be donated to a charity in his name. Thank you for the kindness and love you have sent our way. It makes me cry seeing how many people he’s touched and I’d give anything to have him back. Your outpouring has helped our family cope with this extremely difficult time, I’m having a hard time saying in words what your contributions mean to us. All I can say is thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
