Caring & Healing: Cobijo para Mexico

Dear people, following the earthquake in Mexico a group of Waldorf teachers, part of the Emergency Pedagogy team, have traveled to Mexico to support Indigenous children affected. The teachers are attending children with traditional Waldorf methods and strategies developed by Bernd Ruf, to help them emotionally deal with devastating affects of the tragedy. They use art, eurythmics, games and poetry, amongst others therapies to heal. At the moment a few teachers have traveled by their own means. They need your help fund them to stay in the affected areas, once the programme is fully in place they will also need continuing financial support. As we cannot all be in presence helping them, we have organised a group of mostly Waldorf homeschooling families for promote and fundraise. We can help to relief the stress of the teachers so they can focus on what's important: the children. Please consider supporting this cause, every cent counts. Estimados amigos,  a resultado del terremoto en México un grupo de maestros Waldorf, parte del equipo de pedagogía de emergencia, han viajado a México para ayudar niños indígenas afectados por los terremotos. Estos maestros utilizan métodos  educativos Waldorf  y estrategias desarrolladas por Bern Ruf, para ayudarlos  a  superar anímicamente  los efectos devastadores de esta tragedia. Entre las terapias utilizadas se encuentran arte, ejercicios eurítmicos, juegos, poesía entre otros. De momento algunos maestros han viajado a las zonas afectadas por sus propios medios, una vez que el programa sea implementado seguirán necesitando ayuda económica. Ya que no todos podemos estar presentes para ayudarlos en México,  hemos organizado un grupo principalmente de padres educando en el hogar, para difundir y colectar fondos.  Todos podemos ayudar para que los maestros se enfoquen en lo mas importante: los niños. A little bit about myself: I'm a mexican mother living in Australia, I found an ad of one of these teachers asking for money to buy a ticket to get to the affected children, I though I could help by raising money.
