Coast VBC 15-1 Girls Volleyball Team Community Service Project “Build a Miracle” The Coast 15-1 girls’ volleyball team is excited to announce its’ community service project for 2018. The team has set a goal to raise enough money to build and completely furnish a home for a deserving family in Mexico through a great 501(c)3 charity - "Build a Miracle" and would appreciate your support! In addition to the fundraising, the team also plans to participate in 3 “build days” to assist with the actual construction of the home and conduct a volleyball camp for the children of the community. This project will have a huge impact on not only the family receiving the home, but also be a life changing opportunity for the girls on our team. Build a Miracle, www. buildamiracle.net is an amazing 501(c)3 charity which has transformed a community in Tijuana, Mexico by building over 250 homes, a community center, athletic fields and facilities since its founding in 1999. In addition, the charity has developed college scholarship and job training programs which have added to the amazing impact on the community changing lives for generations. The team’s fundraising goal is to raise a total of $16,000 which will cover construction costs, paid labor, appliances and complete furnishings for a 2 bedroom home with kitchen, family room and bathroom. 100% of donations go directly to the home construction and furnishings. We are hoping to meet our fundraising goal by May 1, 2018 so that construction can begin immediately upon reaching our goal. Contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated and tax receipts will be received immediately for donations made on our GoFundMe page www.gofundme.com/coast15-1 Donations can also be made by check, if preferred, made out to Build a Miracle. Please include Coast 15-1 in the memo line if donating by check. We are looking forward to an amazing experience with this project and will post our progress and pictures on our club website at www.coastvbc.com Thank you so much for your support !!
