Support laid off EMTs for the holidays!

Friday the 13th, December 2013 will be an especially dark day in EMS. Many of our EMT brothers and sisters will be laid off and lose their jobs on this day. These men and women have served in our profession for decades. Many of them have dedicated over thirty years of their lives to serving the citizens of Contra Costa County. Over the years these EMTs have watched the profession grow. They have seen EMTs and paramedics come and go, but they remained dedicated and loyal to their careers. The people who will be unemployed on December 13th are our friends, our long time co-workers and our union brothers and sisters.

The holidays are among us, and the timing for this could not be worse. We are asking for donations to help support your co-workers and your union family during this tough time. Please donate whatever you are comfortable giving.
