This web page was created to help cover the medical costs for Mya Hernandez, Gage Klein and Tatum Rondan. These three amazing kiddos live and attend school in Andrews, Texas.

Mya is a sweet 5 year old girl that attends school at Clearfork. She has been diagnosed with Leukemia. Leukemia is a type of blood cancer that begins in the bone marrow. Unfortunately, the cost of treatment is very expensive even when you have health insurance. Someone who has Leukemia may have a doctors visit three times per week, so a $10 to $30 doctor's visit co-pay can become quite a burden. Some people that have a bone marrow transplant or stem cell transplant, need up to 50 medications afterward, and each medication can carry a co-pay of hundreds of dollars.

Gage Klein is a 10 year old 5th grader attending school at Underwood. On the outside he is a typical, happy, active 10 year old boy who is passionate about his racing in competitive motocross. This also spills over to include everyone and everything associated with this extreme sport. His bedroom walls are full of motocross jerseys and posters of his motocross heroes. On August 18, 2012 the thrill and joy of competition was stolen from this little boy by a dreadful hereditary condition called Fanconi Anemia (FA). Fanconi Anemia is a disease passed down through families, that mainly affects the bone marrow. It results in decreased production of all types of blood cells. Treatment costs for FA are very expensive. IVF (a type of treatment) can cost up to $22,000.00.

Tatum Rondan is a vibrant and life loving 7th grader who attends middle school in Andrews. She has developed and owns her positive attitude of #keepinitsunny. She is a member of the AMS tennis team, a first-season cross country runner, and is active in dance and cheer. She also loves to play softball and has made the all-star team four times. Several weeks ago Tatum started developing small pin point bruising, causing her parents to be concerned. Blood testing concluded that her blood count was dangerously low, and in January of 2014 she was diagnosed with ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenia). ITP causes her immune system to work against her plateletes. This puts Tatum at risk for nose bleeds, extreme bruising from small injuries, and internal bleeding. Tatum is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and her medical expenses are adding up quickly.

Please don't delay. Your donation means everything to these three wonderful children:)
