Who is Classmates Forever?
Classmates Forever is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) offering support to the underprivileged students of the Balkan region, specifically Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro, by personally delivering school essentials to those living in extreme poverty.
What does Classmates Forever do?
In January 2015, Classmates Forever, Inc. was founded on the belief that no individual should be deprived of educational hope. Hope, or “Shpresë” in Albanian, is a term that holds many different meanings and invokes a variety of emotions. It is a difficult word to describe but it holds true to all people. This four-letter word is what wakes us and what keeps us up. We strive that our organization holds true to its promise; a little hope in any form can potentially lead to an enriched life and a happy one. What’s more, hope encompasses the opportunities for an individual or a nation to turn dreams into reality. Today, twenty-five percent of Albanians live on or below the absolute poverty line of 1.42 Euros per day. Similarly, nearly half of Kosovo’s children ranging from infancy to the age of nineteen live in poverty. Under such conditions there is not much room for hope when families are struggling to survive. Classmates Forever recognizes the economic and psychological benefits of investing in the education of Balkan youth, and that serves as the driving force of our mission
What has Classmates Forever accomplished?
In September 2016, our organization provided students within the Balkans with a number of tools necessary for success. We provided over 1,250 students with school supplies including but not limited to: backpacks, notebooks, writing essentials, and calculators. In total, we visited 13 schools in the following regions:

What’s coming NEXT?
In September 2017, we will be taking our second trip to ethnic Albania. We are confirmed to visit 16 schools and a total of 1,345 students. See list below for regions and schools. We will be delivering school supplies, including backpacks, notebooks (writing, drawing and math), rulers, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, colored pencils, markers, and coloring books.
