This page is about Chrystel Mann. Chrystel is a mother of two beautiful children, Emma, age 13 and Aidan, age 7. She is also a beloved wife to Steve, a loving daughter and best friend to many. In October of 2014 Chrystel was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.
Chrystel began 6 months of heavy duty chemo. The cancer started in her left breast and spread to her lymph nodes, lung, sternum and right hip bone. Her chemo sessions were each 7 long hours and as you can imagine, it took it's toll on her.
Along with the chemo, Chrystel also received additional treatments of various drug cocktails designed to support the chemo. Along the way Chrystel was fortunate to have some success with her treatment, but ultimately, this disease is so very invasive and has returned.
The purpose of this page is to help raise money for Chrystel's medical expenses. We want her to have the opportunity to explore treatment options. There are so many cutting edge therapies out there and we believe one of these or a combination of these will work for Chrystel. Needless to say, they all cost money.
Everyone deserves an opportunity to beat cancer - not just people who can afford to seek out answers. We hear of new techniques almost daily that are saving lives, and we want to save Chrystel's life! Chrystel's children need their mother, and she desperately needs to be here for them.
