Christopher's Angel Wings

No one is ever prepared for the loss of a child. It is just something no parent wants to think about. As parents we strive to make sure our children are loved, that they learn right from wrong, to love not hate, to help others in need. We want out children to be happy and carefree, smart, talented, and be able to make friends where ever they go.
As parents we expect to watch our children grow, graduate high school and college, get married, and have children of their own for us to love and spoil until our heart's content. We do not want to hear of illness or pain. We do not want to hear "There is nothing more we can do," from doctors and nurses caring for our precious children. It is something no parent should ever have to go through.
But, sometimes God has greater plans for a child and calls them to his Kingdom long before their time on Earth is up. He calls up these special Children to be the brightest of lights when his kingdom is dark, to be the beautiful rose amidst a thorn bush, to be part of his flock as a angel child.
Heaven gained another angel child as the Lord called upon Christopher Becker to join him by side. He left this Earth far too soon, God must have had a greater purpose for this precious child.
Christopher passed away on January 29, 2015 due to complications from a cerebral arteriovenous malformation rupture. He was taken to St. Christopher's  Hospital for Children earlier this week where surgeons attempted to control the bleeding in his brain.  Sadly, too much damage had already occured leaving Christopher with no chances of recovery or quality of life.
Greg and Christy made a choice that no parents should ever have to make. With no chances of recovery,  not wanting their child to suffer, they made the decision to remove Christopher from life support and donate his organs through "The Gift of Life."
I now call upon family and friends to help them in their time of need. As they mourn the loss of their son, they are also have to worry about of funeral expenses, medical bills, and other final arrangements.  Let us come together and remove as much of the financial burden as we can.
Please make a donation,  leave a message of condolence or fond memory you of Christopher, and say a prayer for the Becker family. Let's show this close knit, kind-hearted family how much we love them.
